There is this guy at my school. He can't stop talking to other people about me. It doesn't matter if it is his friends or even the most popular girls at my school, he can't stop talking or thinking about me. I used to like him. I mean we are friends. But I don't want to ruin our friendship or break his heart or anything. My two friends became BF/GF and then they just wanted to be friends and It ruiened their friendship. We have gone on a date before. What if he askes me to be his girlfriend? Couold give me advice?

One way of doing it without being direct is to start talking about someone you like. Let it be known that you are interested in someone else. If his your true friend his going to continue been your friend. If he just wants you as a gf then he will end up backing away. I have the same realantionship with one of my friend. He is in love with me and i was honest and told him it could never be between us and that i'm in love with someone else. Till this day we continue to be close friends and he has accepted the fact that there isn't a chance between us.

Best of luck.

Well, the best thing to do is be honest with him. Talk to him and tell him that you wouldn't like to ruin what you guys have as friends. If he really cares about you that much, he'll understand and maybe even let you go. Don't be too harsh though. Wish you luck!

He obviously has a big crush on you. I wouldn't worry to much about it until he does ask you out. When he does, just be honest with him and tell him you don't feel that way about him and just want to be friends.
