Nope. Son married a lady he met on BBS 10 years ago. (Early form of on line communication, before the internet chat rooms, etc.) She recently and finally left to go to another state to live, it was 50/50 why the marriage failed. It's been failing for 6 or more years, but they just hung on too long. However, she took our two beautiful granddaughters, ages 2 and 4. We went to the attorney's just today. The best he can hope for is shared custody. As for us, as grandparents, we are totally out of the picture! The only way we get to see the kids is through our son's visitation. We are praying that the divorce is friendly enough so the children don't have to suffer too much.

Maybe some people will find each other on line, but take it slow. Be sure you get to know the person really well, give your relationship lots of 'reality' time too. And remember, if you marry and have kids, try to get an agreement that allows future grandparents the right to visit and have the kids visit them before you get into hot water with your spouse. So many times parents use kids as a weapon to hurt when they get divorced. Think of these things before having children. Think of the kids!!!!

Thank you!

I met my last boyfriend on the internet. Great guy but not interested in marraige.

He kept telling if he wanted to marry I would be the one...but "if" wasn't what I was looking for so I had to move on :(

So I guess the answer is YES. I just haven't managed to do it.

I'm sure there is. Go to the dating sites. One I can think of is Harmony.com. I'm sure there are plenty of others. Just type in dating sites.
