he hasn't been around us much and they left with him when he was nine... my sis who has spent more time with him than us says that he is constantly teased at school and that he has some bad emotions bottled up inside, she also says that on his birthday his mom wouldn't even let him have any friends over, she tells me to watch him around my kids because we dont know what he has been through. I want to make him feel welcome at my house and I want to help him to feel more accepted by our family and let him know how much we love him and I wanna help him but I just dont know how...his mom is very vindictive and manipulative and has probably tried to turn him against us... so how do I deal with him and what can I say to him to let him know that I care about what he's going through and exactly how can I keep an 11 year old entertained? Im open to any and all suggestions!

How would you feel if your mother told you that she well no longer support you in anything that you do from this point on. Im 21 yrs old and me and my mother havnt been in the best of situations thru out my life . She was all I had growning up and for her to tell me this it hurt me more than anything ever. I know she ment it, she wasnt just saying it. This is the worst thing my mother has ever said to me in my entire life. Just like every other person we have our ups and downs expecially these past 2 weeks but, Why do you think she said this to me so coldheartedly . Even when I told her how much this hurt me.

My daughter actually moved in with this man and he won't let her answer the phone, or give her the phone. I loaned her my cell phone and it gets lost, AT THE BAR WHERE THEY WERE WORKING then it gets found over a week later and the man gives it back fully charged! The guy takes off with the only phone they have when my daughter is supposed to be calling the cops to report my phone stolen, so she can't report it. SO I do and the cops say they have him on video getting the phone. This guy has been grand jury indictment for attempting to run over a cop with his personal car. Ok, I vented, I feel better, so what do you all think of a man who is in his mid-40's with a girl who is the exact same age as one of his sons? (The same age, same birthdate, the same hospital etc,)

I love my boyfriend, and we have a blessed relationship, but there's another boy that I find very attractive, and he told me he likes me too.
I won't cheat or break up.
But I dislike the constant thoughts I have of that other boy.
What can I do? (He's my colleague, so I can't stay away from him.)

Is love ever a fairy tale or is it just not worth it anymore because it seems like so many people get hurt... It's not worth trying anymore.

i know it sounds weird, but she was making out with a guy she's made out with numerous times, and somehow she was apparently laying on her stomach and he, you know, put it in. she didn't really know what was happening at the time, but once she realized, she made him pull it out right away because she wasn't ready and she was basically in shock. she wasn't mad, she just feels weird now and she wants to talk to me about all of it because i'm experienced. i just really don't know what to say, other than i think she should have a positive and longer experience with this same guy, because she cares about him and he's the one who she'll remember as her first regardless of how it was. any suggestions or advice? anyone have a similar situation?

Thank you!

My mom and step-dad have been together for 14 years. My mom has always made me call my step-dad "dad".
Now that I'm older, people think it's weird I call my step-dad Dad, and not, well Step-dad. But i think "step-dad" is a rude informality. I don't want to hurt his feelings, but my mom won't let me call him by his first name either.

well, i'm the girlfriend of "quiasmo" and he asked about tho "one" month I gaved him. it's not like he said... it's true I gaved him one month. we are a couple for 2 and a half years and during this period marriage was not an option for him. at the beginnig it was not for me. But the feeling grew up and now I want do get married!!! I have that right...don't you think?
if we are dating for so long, it's natural that I want to have a future in the relation...I must have! because I'm not dating him for anything...
Our relationship is very strange, because he is a different boy. He doensn't give kisses or hugues in public...he doesn't give me presents... he has a diferent opinion abou relationships!
So, like I don't want to be a "girfriend" forever, I decided to give him 1month!!!! it's fair right??

:)
