No, not really. In many cultures, it's the norm and it works. I don't know how mature you are, but be cautious that he does not try to pressure you into things, to make decisions for you under the disguise of "pretection and care for you," to take it sooner than you'd want to marriage and children. You need to pursue studying and career so you can always stand on your own feet. Have a confidante who can give you perspective, keep your separate friends of your age, so you have the perspective that way too. Stay close to your parents/siblings. And if he tries to interfere with any of that, that's a bad sign. A sign of control and of abusing his seniority.

depends on how well you two get along. it is a large gap, but if you have alot in common and can communicate well, you can overcome this difference. good luck!
