Give a friend his email address and get him to mail the guy asking if he's Bob jones or somebody who goes/went to this school and also knows your girlfriend. If he's dumb he'll reply with the info you need :)

Do a reverse directory search, there are several sites. If it's not on one, it may be on another.
On the other hand, if she's hiding some kind of involvement with somebody online, even if it's only emails, I would feel betrayed and would feel like I had to break off the relationship.
If a person can do what she's doing... well of course, she would probably continue to do it.

Why would you want to know who he is?Isn't it enough on you just finding out your girlfriend has been relating to another guy?Apparently, she doesn't want to be true to just you or she wouldn't want to even seek out another guy,i would move on and find someone else that will show you appreciation of you being you,and that is going to be trustworthy of the love you give to them.I would count my blessings and move forward, why put yourself threw the stress with a guy that probably doesn't even know that you exist, plus the factor that it was your girlfriend that contacted him,or how would he know how to reach her?Food for thought! You would be better off!Best wishes and Good Luck to you!

Dont find out who he is. Let her go. Obviously she doesnt care much about your feelings because she's out cheating on you and it's wrong. You might love this person but who knows...even if she breaks up with this guy she might cheat on you again...how many heart aches can you take? You sound like a great person and it's hard to find some one like that. Find someone who feels the same as you feel for them...no one deserves to be cheated on..

dealing with? What the hell does that mean? Is she cheating? Or could this just be some dude she's known since she was 10?
Don't do anything with the e-mail address. It'll only make you look psycho.

If all you got is his email address, you can try people search on yahoo or on aol if that's where his address is, or whatever his server, but he may have chosen to keep his real identity hidden, in which case there's not much you can do. Wouldn't it be better to confront her? She's the one who owes you loyalty not him.

What exactly do you mean by "dealing"?
Maybe she has a male friend, just like you have female friends.
In any case, it doesn't matter. IF she's cheating, and I'm not saying she is, finding out about him isn't going to do anything - she'll still be unfaithful.

Define "dealing with" before you do anything. Not all dealings with members of the opposite sex are bad things for mates to do.

Keyword is 'girlfriend'- no obligation from you, you cannot expect any from her.
sounds like time to put up or shut up- ask her for a more permanent relationship or move on.
