Is love ever a fairy tale or is it just not worth it anymore because it seems like so many people get hurt... It's not worth trying anymore.

love is a waste of time to those people who are skeptic about it. to those who doesn't believe in it anymore. to those who closed their doors because they are too scared to feel it. love is a waste of time for those whose lives are wasted.
there are always 2 sides of every story.
the piano has 2 colors, the black and the white. consider the white color as the happy times and the black as the sad ones or painful times...but both of them produces music.
it's now about how love hurt you or caused you pain, it's how you love and how you showed it to the other person. you don't have to lost dignity when you love, the problem with most of us is that when we love and give everything and it fails we tend to regret and give fault to love when we should be happy to have given our time and shared our lives with that someone who used to make us happy- our ex or ex's for that matter.
love is not at all fairy tale- if it is, we won't have families and parents to take care of us.
we would not have all the friends that surrounds us.
there is no challenge with having everything perfect because nothing is perfect.
you will not feel loved and love if you won't get hurt...
how will you know it's wrong if you haven't been right?

I believe there is a lot of truth in the following statement:

It is better to have loved and lost than never to have loved at all.

There is a reason why people will go to such incredible measures to find love, unfortunately, opening up your heart and mind to someone means making yourself vulnerable, which means you could be or get hurt. It is always a choice as to whether you want to make yourself vulnerable, but in the end I think there is also a lot of truth in the statement, no pain no gain. Obviously, everything has it's limitations, but, yes, I believe love is not a waste of time and is worth all the time and effort to learn, understand, and accept what love really means.

It's not usually a fairy tale romance, but that doesn't mean it's not worth it. Even if you never fall in love, there are lots of other things in life that can hurt you.

You girls are always saying that, "I cant seem to find love (Sigh)" But so much of the time it is staring at you in the face and you don't even know it. Girls always go for the drinkin, smokin, clubbin, hard rockin, motorcylin, meathead because they think that will be so much fun and think that that must be love. You go with these guys and then they take a dump on you 10 or so years later when your not as pretty as you were and go to someone younger. Go for the nice humble guys that value your happiness first instead of themselves and you'll do o. k.

Love is not a waste of time, when you have found the right one. Stop trying so hard, and just enjoy life because it is to short to be worrying over selfish bone-headed guys who never take anyones feeling into consideration but their own.

Getting hurt is apart of life, sometimes it takes a person a couple of times to find their True Love. My point is this, it isn't a waste of time, when you meet your True Love he/she will take all of your pain away and will be there through thick and thin. Love is friendship set on fire(or so I've heard)

It is worth it. You don't hear about the on es that work out because they are at home having fun in front of the tv. You only seem to hear about the ones that blow up here.

Never! You may regret it but no matter what the time you spent loving that person will make you learn and respect love a little more each and everytime it happens. Good Luck!
