My sister is an idiot. She is with an abusive redneck. He doesn't work and he treats her like crap. I told her I couldn't be involved in her life if she was with him. She plans to marry him someday and I told her I wouldn't go if she did. She now lives with him and like I said he treats her so badly. You know on those talk shows when the woman is being abused but won't leave him because she loves him. I hate her for making me feel like this. Is it wrong to hate a sister for being stupid and ruining her life? Oh and I have been talking to her for 2 years so that doesn't work. She won't listen and when confronted she swears and fights. Should I just not talk to her and wait for the "someday"?

I am a professional in higher education, but the "real" me is just a country gal with a degree. I like to fish, roam in the woods, and read. If I was not a slave to plumbing, I think I could live in a tent in the woods. I am not into wasting money on movies or dinner. A quiet movie at home (with a cheap cold beer) is much less expensive than wasting money on a movie and meal. I know how to cook, and I have a great collection of movies.

All my friends want to fix me up with professionals in my field, but these men are almost always stuffy and only interested in discussing our profession. My job is just a job. It is not my life.

Please don't tell me to go to a bar. Been there. Done that. Bought that T-shirt.

I just want to meet a fella who is not intimidated by my degree and doesn't mind getting a little dirt under his fingernails.

I am 46, and still looking for the White Knight or the white picket fence. I'd settle for a 4 wheeler or a john boat! : )

IN MY CASE, I FEEL IN LOVE WITH MY HUSBAND THEN WE GOT MARRIED. My best friend disagree: it's the other way around, she say.

Anyway her family believes in arrange marriage. Her older sister was married to a man she didn't know, and so was their other cousin's. My best friend Mom wants to set her up with a man from Texas. She is going along with what ever her mother wants because this was how she was raised.

P.S.
Have anyone here, been in the same situation?.................please explain to me, so I won't have to worry so much about her when she go with this stranger.

He and I are best friends and can usually talk about anything. Sexually, our chemistry is ridicuously strong and he loves to do, I mean, he real really loves doing it so he automatically does it before lovemaking. But sometimes I want it again, afterwards. I live with my boyfriend and his family, i have no insurance, and a dead end job. The Army will give me money, health care and a place of my own, even training. But then I have to leave my family. I also have to lose some of my weight to join. But I could go to school to keep my family happy, but then I have to worry about getting sick, or what I am going to come home to.
