IN MY CASE, I FEEL IN LOVE WITH MY HUSBAND THEN WE GOT MARRIED. My best friend disagree: it's the other way around, she say.
Anyway her family believes in arrange marriage. Her older sister was married to a man she didn't know, and so was their other cousin's. My best friend Mom wants to set her up with a man from Texas. She is going along with what ever her mother wants because this was how she was raised.
P.S.
Have anyone here, been in the same situation?.................please explain to me, so I won't have to worry so much about her when she go with this stranger.

All marriages need a lot of work to work. In the United States we think that arranged marriages are wrong but not in all cases. I married my husband for love after he decided twice not to marry in an arranged marriage like his parents wanted.
But his parents have been married for 28 years and it was an arranged marriage and they are happy.

I've heard that some arranged marriages, of our ancestors way back worked--but a lot more of those people were miserable. When you start dating someone, he is also a stranger--sometimes it works out, sometimes it doesn't.
I would have thought that such a thing would not even exist in the 21st Century--no matter what country people come from.

Depends on the cultural background of individuals. But mostly, sure it works, probably works better, since non-arranged marrages don't seem to be working all that well.
Don't forget, for a time, most the world participated in arranged marriages.

i have never been in this situation but i think that sometimes arranged marriages really di work because 1. do you honestly think your parents would pick an awful spouse for you? and 2. some people tell me that at first you feel like strangers but then you learn to like, then love one another

You have answered your own question by citing examples from your own best friend's family.
Clearly such cultures, past and present, have thrived.
Our western culture, which boasts of our freedom of choice, is clearly failing when it comes to successful marriages, so this freedom of ours is no assurance of marital bliss.(I say this in response to those who blindly believe that more people are unhappy in arranged marriages.)
As far as feeling comfortable about your friend going out with a complete stranger, don't.
There should be a chaperon, or double-date, to be safe.

My grandfather was 16 years older than my Grandmother and they came to the U.S. and had 6 children and were never divorced. They were married for nearly 60 years when my Grandpa died.

Arranging ahead of time is good.
I would hate to think of going to the store and all of a sudden a woman comes up to me and informs me, we are getting married.
