my life is basically meaningless now. the guy i like completely ignores me on AIM and the ther the guy that i like HAS A FREAKING GIRLFRIEND!!!!!!! and his girlfriend....is one of my really good friends! so my life has no meaning........i just want to cry..........what do i do?

You asked her to prom and she said yes, she'd love to go. During a slow dance she tried to move in for the kiss but you didn't think that it was the right time. You also went to a dance recital for someone you both know and she said that she was cold and tired. She then put her head on your shoulder and let it stay there for a couple seconds. Again, you did nothing because you have never had a relationship. You asked her out again after prom and she went to the movies with you. When you said goodbye, she leaned over and gave you a hug. What does it all mean?!!

The other day i decided to be something like a father when i saw my daughter playing jump rope with her friends..I wanted to help her look cool and since i was quite the jump roper back in the day i went downstairs to play..well when they finnaly let me play i started to jump rope with the kids...But when I was jumping my chest got free from my wifebeater and started hitting me in the forhead..I was concentrating so much on the game that i didnt notice that everyone was laughing untill i heard my daughter run upstairs crying. I went after her and told her only sissies cry and to suck it up..she then started laughing at me because my chest was still sticking out...this is the sad part...I was so embarressed that i went into my room locked the door and let it all out...how can i ever show my face on the streets again..with my ruined rep?

I have been separated from my husband ( verbally abusdive and physically threatening ) for almost 3 months. Final paperwork is pending, and I have recently reconnected with an old friend from my college days, and I am interested in exploring the possibilities. Is it wrong to move ahead? No big rush, nothing too serious, but I feel like I want to go, see, do....after 11 years of trouble...is it ok? Or should I wait until things are final?

my gf an i dated seriously for 6 mnths. she broke up with me an couldnt give me a reason. she told me she was too young, an that she wanted to go out with her friends. she said she didnt want to be in a relationship anymore. but after we broke up she started talking to another guy, an now likes this guy. i know she didnt cheat on me for a fact. we loved each other very much. expressed it to each other everyday. we spent the night with each other everynight. she seemed happy, she seemed like she loved me. we just went out for our 6 month anniversary. i dont get it....

Hi, I hope you don't mind me asking this becuase it is probably like some others.
Well, there is this guy at school that I like and he knows I like him. He came up and said high to me first when I had never met him before and we talked, then we said hi and smiled at each other in the hallways at school and had short conversations every couple of days. Then one of my friends told him, in front of a group, that I like him and now all his friends know. After someone played a mean joke on me and said he liked me and wanted to go on a date, and I didn't know if it was true, that same friend asked him online if he liked me or not. He said he didn't, but that I was pretty. He still talks to me and we were starting to hang out more and talk but the school year ended.
I found out where he eats at lunch and made sure I went there as many days as I could after spending time with my friends at my lunch table eating and talking. Sometimes when I went over and talked to the group he hangs out with at lunch he wouldn't be there yet and a couple of times when he got there after me he stood next to me.
I may be imagining things but I also think he got a little quieter for a while when I first got to the group every day. Even though he didn't always say hi, niether did I, but it is a big group and you would have to talk across a few heads to say something he always smiled at me when he saw me.
I know for a fact that he usually left the school one way, but for the last month-1.5 months he went to the place that I left school and we talked for a little while. For a while after he found out that I liked him I did not initiate any conversations, I didn't know if he was one of those people who stop talking to someone who likes them. He still started coversations and I began starting them again too. He also jokes around a little with me and acts tough around his guy friends if I'm around, as far as I know anyway.
He plays trumpet and at a concert with an orchestra we are both in, after he knew I liked him and while I was still nervous about wether we would still be at least friends, he tapped me on the shoulder with his trumpet as he walked past and said hey, then stopped and we talked about another recent concert for a couple of minutes. Sometimes I think he is looking at me when i'm not looking, but I can't be sure, and after I got to know him a little better I started seeing more of him in the halls between classes, although I might have just started noticing him more than I used to. He's always nice around me and seems to actually listen to what I'm saying.
He is in a grade higher than me and I don't really know any of his friends and my friends don't know him well enough to ask him, and be 100% sure he is giving a true answer. I don't know if he told the one girl, who is younger than him and only knew him for a few months the truth, or if that even matters that she is younger(grade-wise) or not. I also don't know what his friends think of me and how that will effect his opinion, the ones that played the joke on me were seniors and are now gone, his friends that I know that are still at school are nice and they don't ignore me. His friends, and thye whole band, know my name, but that could be good or bad. I am kinda glad that he did not jump on the opportunity when he knew I liked him, becuase we hadn't known each other very long. I would like to know if you think he does or could like me if we get to know each other better. Sorry this was so long, but it is hard to be succinct trying to explain all of this. well last year my bf went to the library before me and then when i entered i saw him sitting with two girls
one was holding his hand and i didnt recognise either of them at that time (one was his classmate while the other was the classmates friend----the one who was holding him was the classmates friend)so when i saw him i went and sat down beside my friend and waited for him to tell the girl to leave his hand but it never materialised
i then went outside and he came after me i asked him that who they were ? he lied and told me 2 diff names (i found out later)
i told him i didnt want him anymore but then he pleaded to me not to leave him.
he told me that she did that to make me jealous but i dont understand why.everytime i bring up this topic we fight.he is not talking to her.the problem is everytime i see that girl i wana kill her.i asked her why she did that and she said it was just a joke and i asked her why you want to joke with someone you hardly know.

I got engaged about 6 months ago, and I have realized how much better looking my diamond is when it is super clean. I have started cleaning it with what smells like an amonia based cleaner (the store that sold my fiance the ring gave it to him with the purchase), When I say clean, I mean I soak it for a few minutes in the cleaner and gently clean it with the soft brush that came with it. Is it possible that I am damaging my diamond, or would the store have mentioned that? How about the white gold, could that be getting damaged?
