That is one heck of a bail. Most people, if they lack the funds, put property up as bail. However that is very tricky. You really need to think about bailing this person out. By doing so, YOU are promising this person WILL show for their court appearance. If they fail to do so, you will lose anything you have posted for their bail. Be it cash, a car or your house. My advice, I personally wouldn't do it. Not unless they had the cash to give you immediately upon release. However if that were the case, they would be able to pay for their own bail.

You are crazy. Run as fast as you can in the other direction. This situation will only get worse, not better. How many of you need bail money? You some how mention what seems like 3 people?
You are in a mess. Hope you find a legal solution.

Have you tried asking your family for money? If not, you could do that or you could go to a bail bond place and see what you need to do to get a bail bond.

Hock something. And then have the person you're bailing out sign an agreement saying they owe you that money back. Make sure it's signed by both of you and dated!!!!!! I would staple the "Pawn" ticket to it also.

If the bail is that high, he must have done something really bad. Don't bail him out. He'll never pay you back.

You can go to one of those bail bond businesses. Just remember, if your friend skips bail, you have to pay.

Get a bonds man. It will be a lot cheaper but you need something for collateral like a car title or jewelery.

If your friend did something bad to wind up in jail you should leave them there so they can learn their lesson..
.... just my opinion
