Need some advice on this matter. When my little girl was younger, we had a great relationship...now that she's 15, it seems she could care less about mother/daugher relationship...it bothers me because...she's lying and hiding things from me; when at one point... she was very open and honest...how to build back a better relationship?

If the wedding is planned for a year away, should the planner be involved then? Do they charge hourly or per wedding?

we've been together for 7 months and have never fought before. it was over something dumb that escalated into me hanging up on her. I texted her (cuz she was at work) and appologised for hanging up on her, but she didn't call me yet. That was this morning and she usually calls me all throughout the day. My question is, should i call her or should i wait for her to call me? I don't want to get into the whole, i'm mad, so i'm not calling game. but, i also want to give her time to cool off if that's what she needs.

From all signs he does (i.e. buys me dinner, opens doors for me, tells me that he wants to get married to me as soon as possible and have kids together, he and I each have two kids from our ex's, tells me about his deepest thoughts, we have talked about opening our own bakery together, etc), but then sometimes his behavior is off (i.e. not calling me when he says he will) He works very hard at his job 80+ a week, so that does play a factor, we are not having sex, that is our choice based on what the Bible says about not having sex outside of marriage. Does he honestly like me or is his just passing the time with me?

I currently work as a Teacher's Aide. My resume consists of 10 years of nanny and childcare jobs. I babysit occasionally for her three kids (ages 2, 5, and 10) and she has never offered to pay me for my time. I know I am their Aunt, and I love those kids dearly. But I'd rather be their Aunt and invite them to my house and on outings instead of being their babysitter. My sister needs a week of fulltime care for her 10 year old, and I offered to do it for $100. (That's just $2.50 an hour!!)
She was furious and said as their Aunt it's expected that I babysit them for free any time my sister needs me. I feel insulted that she doesn't take my profession seriously enough to pay me for my time and expertise. She thinks I'm being ridiculous. She said to me, "When you have kids I will babysit them any time for free, it's a sisters duty." I told her I would never ask her to babysit, that I would ask a neighborhood teenager or somebody who babysits regularly as a job. What should I do?!

I'm getting married in a month and I want to know the best thing about marriage (and don't say "having kids," because we're childfree and we won't be having any!).

I am asking this question because I wanted to know if there were any guys that would prefer a nice, family-oriented girl over a wild, partying girl. I am a very family-oriented, calm, not wild type of girl, but my exboyfriend left me after claiming that he loved me to go out and party with other types of girls, like the ones that you can find at the clubs and other places. I feel like being the way I am is getting me nowhere.

I met a guy through mutual friends a couple months ago. We have hung out (never a planned date) several times. He is clearly interested in me and I am interested in him. Problem is he has a girlfriend who lives about two hours away - they've been dating a couple years, but don't see each other more than once a month or so. He's not the kind of guy who would just screw around on her; I know this because we started kissing once and he guiltily stopped, but has continued to hang out with me. What are the chances he'll give up the old cow for the person he likes who lives in the same area code, being me?

When you see your girlfriend you are very sweet to her and talk about how much you care for her. You are very attentive and remember all your conversations with her. You have discussed marriage, having kids, etc. She is very special to you. However, you have a physical job in which you work 70+ hours a week. You get one day off a week, sometimes you spend it with her and sometimes you don't. She doesn't mind that, but you rarely check up on her and when she calls you, you tell her that you'll call her back later. Why would you do that?

Ok so I am in the military right now and it just really iritates me that alot of the men that are servin in the military marry these girls that were ok when they got married but are crazy now. They are lazy don't get jobs, expect their man to do everything, stay at home all day but don't cook or clean, and neglect their children cuz they're too busy callin him all day? Oh and they don't like for him to do anything but sit in the house with her all day. I mean damn it kills me cuz men shouldn't be treated like that if they're doing the right thing and going to work everyday and bring home food and clothes for his family. I guess it's just Military wives that do it but still it's not cool nobody deserves to get treated like that. So why do Women get retarded and lazy when they get married? (especially when they get married to a military man)?
