I was 20 when my faience died...he lived 10 hours away from me. What did I do? Tried not to fall apart.
Going to his funeral isn't necessary to tell him how much you love him. Funerals are for the people left behind, not for the ones who have left. Tell him now, wherever you are...

I do understand..Did you show him while y'all were together how much you cared about him.Did you tell him how you felt about him? If so you have done your part? His soul is no longer here at the funeral that's only a body not the person you loved. If you really want to go and need that kind of closer try to get some off days and go if its a money issues ask someone real close to you that understands the issue and ask to borrow money or go to a loan company and get some money..

If you can find absolutely no way to go to the funeral you could write a letter to him and tell him all the things you want to say. It's very healing to do this. You can hold onto it until you are ready to let it go or you can do something like floating it down a river. You could write a letter to his parents to tell them how much he meant to you too. They will appreciate that their son will be remembered and that he was loved by many. Even if you're not the church kind you could try praying.

The only thing you can do is talk to him now. Look at his pictures in complete silence. Tell him you love him, and just talk about the past good memories. When people pass they are not mad. Dont forget he is not mad at you for not going to his funeral he understands. Just think of all the good memories anything else will depress you.

think of what he would want u to do, would he want u to cry and grieve for him? or would he want u move on with his memory, everything that he liked to do. Be with friends, enjoy the times that you have all spent together, with friends, the times with each other. You may not be able to be there for his funeral, but I'll bet that He will know that you remember him. keep those memories, It will help you later. There is a time for grieveing, but there is also a time to share with others the time he spent with you, and those who's lives he touched.

Sweetie, When he's died it won't matter that you're not at that place. I'd bet his spirit has visited the places he feels love. Just tell him, and be happy for both of you because you've felt what love is like.

a love message on a helium balloon is a very good idea like Lil Orange said or you can just look at his pictures and talk to him. He will hear you and know that you love him. I am so sad for you....I am very sorry for your loss. try to stay strong........Lennerd
