Ok so I am in the military right now and it just really iritates me that alot of the men that are servin in the military marry these girls that were ok when they got married but are crazy now. They are lazy don't get jobs, expect their man to do everything, stay at home all day but don't cook or clean, and neglect their children cuz they're too busy callin him all day? Oh and they don't like for him to do anything but sit in the house with her all day. I mean damn it kills me cuz men shouldn't be treated like that if they're doing the right thing and going to work everyday and bring home food and clothes for his family. I guess it's just Military wives that do it but still it's not cool nobody deserves to get treated like that. So why do Women get retarded and lazy when they get married? (especially when they get married to a military man)?

Firstly, I haven't seen anything in writing that said that Military Wives Are Crazy! I'm surprised to say the least - but that would be a very general statement to make as every one is different aren't they [you were probably refering to one or two specific women that you know in regard of your Q] anyway, agree that some women DO get slack and take their man for granted; it's not good, but is between the couple concerned. I wonder why if someone is putting it `in your face' for you to be so very upset. The good thing about choices, is, that you can apply to your marriage, exactly what you think is the right thing to do, and feel good about it!

I'm a military wife and I am far from crazy and so are the other military wives I know. Some of us may stay home, like myself but trust me I don't sit on my butt all day and not take care of my kids are make sure the house is clean. I don't call my husband at work ever unless it's an emergency. I don't expect my husband to do all the work. I do support him. I think you should get your facts straight before you make accusations. Furthermore just because we may not have jobs does not mean that we are lazy. My day starts at 6 am and does not end until about 10pm. And I certaintly don't expect my husband to do everything.

Some don't hold off. For me, I was able to, because I have a bad habit of talking in my sleep, and speaking truthfully. Since I didn't want to end up castrated by my wife, I stayed completely faithful. The temptation can be real, and some end up falling into it. EDIT: I am so LMAO at the convo going on here! I absolutely LOVE it! Great to see the regulars enjoying each other here. And Ray looking for love to boot! Woohoo! This has made my day! Aside from never seeing their husbands, in my opinion, it's coming from the "wives club". They all have different names depending on what branch, but there always seems to be a few wives that tend to "lean" on other wives. i.e. Filling their heads with doubt, telling them their hubby is out at some bar pickin up somebody else. Rumormongering.. etc.
Added with all the stress accociated with just being alone all the time, many, but not all military wives start to wonder if these other women might be right. Seen it a million times. It's sad really, but to keep in touch with what's goin' on with their husbands, they have to go to these "Wives Clubs" to stay updated. That's why I just chose to stay single until I'm out. I would'nt want to put someone throught that either....
On the other side, their are some women that were Crazy to begin with, and are just lookin for the free ride and a constant paycheck without having to work at all for it.

I am ex miltary, I can say this. I know EXACCTLY what youi are talking about. They are crazy because they keep having to move all the time. They almost never get to see their husbands. Wouldn't that make you go nuts? I know if I were a woman married to a guy in the military, I would go insane. But thankfully I am not either. If I was I would be section 8 AND gay. Well not all military wives are that way, and they don't have hell to do but raise their kids becasue thier husbands want them to be stay at home wives. And if you ask me I think alot of military men have problems. Hell they have problems just like everybody else

Because the man is in the military they feel they do not have to work, all of the needs will be met. And because men are in the military, they worry about the dangers he may face. The combination of not having enough to do and worrying drives them crazy and don't forget the lack of sex. (if they are not cheating) Base life is like living in a little town(Payton Place).

I don't know what military wifes you know but my aunt and grandmother's husband were (my aunt's still is) both in the army and they are definatly not lazy, espescially my grandma. Infact I find military mothers to be stricter than most mothers.

because military men are so desperate for sex and someone to talk to on a continual basis. So they lower their standards and marry whatever thay can find to meet their needs. I was in the military and all their wives are overweight and dont take care of their bodies. I vowed not to get married until I got out and went to college. Thats where you find the good hot loyal ladies. ones that have goals and ambitions just like you and are doing something about it. Wait for College you cant go wrong.
