People will tell small lies in order not to hurt your feelings. If I ate a meal prepared by someone who took the time to prepare something special and the food was horrible, I'd choke it down and smile while I was eating. Then, I'd tell the person, the meal was delicious. That does not make me a bad person, or does it mean that I tell big lies. It makes me polite.

a lie is a lie. It's all deception. The little ones do preceed the bigger ones. If they can get away with little ones, they will have you believe bigger ones. Count on it.

Not always. We all tell little white lies here and there. Just talk to the person and ask them to be honest with you.

not necessarily. it all depends on what the lie is. Yet instead a lie is a lie and that person should lose some of your trust or all of your trust depending on how serve the lie is

Only, if he tells them often and especially if he tells lies for no apparent reason in which there is no gain from doing so. Keep your mouth shut and your ears open. Time will tell.... in the meantime love him while you have him..... but remember...
never love a man... more than he loves you.
