Hi all, im thinking of asking her the "big question" and am starting to shop around for engagement rings. Im kinda old fashinoned and have picked out a very elegant solitaire diamond ring in a plantinum cathedral setting... I think its beautiful and also think she'll love it.... But since this ring is a ring for life, and dispite my openion, do you think I should take her shopping to discover what she really likes... Problem is, she'll start expecting it and my surprise ruined.... What are your thoughts....

I have moved from the midwest to Southern California to be with my family. I am the last hold-out. Our parents are deceased and my sister lives in California and wanted me to moved here to be closer to her and the rest of the family. I am the only one back east. I am staying with my niece, about 100 miles from my sister because she has the room and i have a dog and she has a house and a dog. Better fit, anyway since I have here I pay for everything around here dog food for the dogs, i pay her to stay here, i do the laundry cook and so on. She's gone nuts over me using the bottle water, i don't use it. Last night she went balistic over me using a fan. she never opens the windows around here, and never turns on the air, and at night she has a rule that all the windows have to be closed because of the alarm system. she went through a bad divorce who hasn't but she is so afraid that somebody is trying to use her or take advantage of her. working to get out of here. need ur opinions HELP ME

I just had a BA (boob job) 6 weeks ago....Hubby said he loved me before just the way I was....but man his sex drive has gone through the roof....Makes me feel like he was lying before about loving me the way I was. I have such mixed emotions. I am glad he is taking the reins and initiating sex....but why now much more than before if he really loved me the way I was. I did this more for me than for him. So I would be happy with what I saw in the mirror. Arghhhhhh........do "they" really make that much difference. What gives? No crude answers please. I was a total hottie before the boobs!

So there's this guy at work that I'm interested in, he seems interested too, hes been flirting a bit. I talked to him today a little bit more than i usually do, I really wanted to ask him if he's single, but I chickened out. but i dropped 2 MAJOR hints that I'm not doing anything tomorrow, when he said that he's not doing anything either, and he didnt seem to catch on to my hint that I was hoping he would ask me out. Is he just clueless? why didn't he ask me out? he seems interested. help!

I married my husband 6 years ago and we have been through so much. I was in love with him but because of some stupid things that happened and still happen i cannot stand for him to touch me. When I close my eyes I see the other girls he has been with in our relationship. I also think about the times he hit me and told me he didnt love me. he has always been so very cold to me, as well as demanding and rude. when we got married was when he became this way with me. I can be so very full of desire that all it would take is for a very light breaze and I would climax, but when he touches me or even says one word to me it all leaves me. I become very disinterested. I end up having to take care of myself because i usually let him go ahead and do his thing. How can I feel desire when he touches me? i would like to forgive and forget. I am just having problems letting go of all the bad...is it truely time to ask him to leave? would i be ok alone? can i ever love again? how do i get rid of him?

The man I am with> Mike, who i have been with for years (moved here 1 year ago, but have been chatting for 3 total) I love him very much, but he is becoming emotionally abusive, in his own words. We are becoming a little less compatable every day.
The other man> Ian. I've been talking to Ian as friends for about 7 months. ish. We get along great. I enjoy his company, when its the only thing i actually do enjoy lately. But he lives in Australia, and is married.

I don't want to be alone. I don't want to stay in a relationship that is abusive. I also don't want to fool around with a married guy. But then again, I want to stay with Mike and I want to go with Ian. I'm very torn.

Now, I have an oppurtunity for a kick-a** grad school program where Ian lives, in Australia. But then again, I love Mike, and Ian is married, and I would only be his mistress. Initally any way. So, this is a real conundrum. Its gotta be one of them,but who?

Ian or Mike, opinions?

Besides all the physical "plusses". Older experienced man + young sexy female = GREAT SEX. But in a relationship, wouldn't I always be a baby to him. Would we ever be able to see each other as equals and share our lives together without him being condescending about my life experiences?
