Hes a really nice guy, but Im just not interested, but Im also afraid of losing his friendship.

You cant..you may break his heart but its always best to be honest. at least then he knows where he stands and he can get on with his life.....its better then living with false hope every day and eventually he will find out anyway. If ou care for him you will be hoenst with him and if he cares for you he will appreciate it. All the best.

Don't assume you will break his heart. Not all guys are fragile like that. If he likes you more than you like him, then just tell him. If it DOES break his heart, then that's his problem...not yours. Why should you play a game to keep him as a friend if it's only going to hurt him down the road. Let him know ASAP so he can get on with his life too.

You can't. But it would be better to break his heart so he will not be wrapped up in thoughts of you and miss out on a possible true relationship. Besides, unless you have been leading him on he already knows, you just have to confirm.

There is no nice way of telling someone that your not interested. You just have to let the person know that your interests lie elsewhere and to stop pursuing you.Just try to be gentle not to embarrass them.

You may have to break his heart, but be honest.
Talk it out. Don't leave questions unresolved.
You'll hurt him more if you're vague about the break-up.

You won't be able to... but you can honest with him, tell him why, be kind about it, if you're interested in friendship-tell him. But don't be hurt if he gets angry... men choose anger over tears.

r u sure he loves you, or only trying to get somewhere with you? hearts been broken since the beginning of time,,,and more than once twice,etc. If they are strong, they'll get over it.

ask him what he hates the most?
then say that u like the thing ur Guy hates
then say "Some times some things are liked by all"
and say "I'm very sorry to say that's will be for us too"

well, there's no way to tell him that without hurting him. you ought to find a way to tell him without LOSING him.
what i did in my case was that i told him how i really felt about him. then i told him that i hope he understand me and hope that he doesnt leave me because he's so great. :D
