Before you jump to any conclusions, get all the facts first. Research-ask friends and keep on asking to see if story changes. Also if the person has lied to you before, then it is a pretty good chance that they may have repeated the habit.

In the past or right now?? Watch for eye contact. If they won't look at your eyes they are probably lying. If you get close enough to feel their pulse it will beat faster if they are lying.

Their pupils dialate. The rub there hands alot. They do not keep eye contact with you, and the pause alot when they talk or get very defensive if you ask them "Are you lying?"

They touch there face alot, try to make a serios face with no emotion or gestures, ussualy weave back and forth or make alot of hand gestures.

If they are making something up, their eyes will turn to the right.
If they are remembering something, their eyes will turn to the left.

they avoid your gaze. they may whistle. they shift feet around. the blink or cover their mouth with hand while talking
