Recenlty I spoke to a friend studying engineering and he told me that the greatest cause of global warming is the production and consumption of electricity. He told me that if this is the case, then, cooling the Earth would be much more complicated than just switching to alternative energies and reducing CO2.

If anyone has any data and scientific research to back up their answers would be great. But, the important thing is that we really figure out what the problem is, so we can make sure we solve it the right way.

I've seen the movies , (an Inconvienent Truth, Day After Tomorrow, etc.) about global warming. When is it going to happen and who is it going to effect? What could happen world wide? And how can we stop it?

the man is an unabashed hypocrite living an opulent lifestyle, flying around the world in a private jet, uses more energy in one day than the rest of us use in a year, has a 'carbon footprint' bigger than montana, and yet you fools can't seem to get close enough to his anus...how does this make you feel? to me, it makes you the equivalent of human tater-tots...thanks for that one andrew...

NASA data shows that Mars is also expieriencing Global Warming. It has warmed by appx .5C since 1970. However, Mars is a totally barren planet with no life whatsoever so the problem is obviously due to natural forces, right? Why not the same here on Earth?

On the other hand, one of the researchers concludes that variations in radiation patters and temperatures across the planet's surface are generating strong winds, which in turn stir up massive dust storms, trapping heat and rasing global temperatures.

Is this just a "convenient" excuse to further the GW/CC alarmists' agenda or can we finally take the blame off ourselves?

The word "dominion" in the Book of Genesis could be updated to "lominion," the Loving Dominion we really want, by those asking for divine intervention (not just in Georgia) in our bad habits as poor caretakers of the environment.

Is this something that is a natural occurrence, over 100,000 years that we cannot track, or is it something we cause? Many claims have been struck out over and over again saying something else is causing it. Everyday I hear something different is causing it. Is the earth tilting getting ready to flip the magnetic poles causing this? What are your thoughts?
