Assume that the human generated element of global warming (burning oil, coal, and natural gas) is irreversible.

They are evil, and need to be stopped.

Now I am going to give anyone who disagrees a thumbs down despite the validity of the argument; and the best answer will go to someone who uses the words "I agree," followed by exactly what I said, but phrased slightly different. Ready, GO!

...is an indication that they know that they are caught in a lie, or should we give them the benefit of the doubt and assume that they didn't know any better and were just going off of the lies told by corrupt scientists, and now that they are finding out, they are just shutting up about it??

Bobby_burke,a scientist, asked this a couple of days ago.
Has anybody studied deminshing returns of co2 in the atmosphere?
I know from my study of agriculture and economics (my degree is in agricultural economics) that any variable input results in diminishing returns when input is added at a higher and higher level. Has anyone studied atmospheric co2 in this manner? In agriculture, which is a natural science, if any variable (such as water or nitrogen) results in diminishing returns when added at higher and higher levels. I have received the same results in econometric models when variables are added when building econometric models. My hypothesis is that increasing levels of atmospheric co2 will result in global cooling not global warming. Any comments? Any research in this area
This gentalman dos'nt seem so conviced that GW is real.

Global warming is thought to be caused by humans releasing carbon dioxide into the atmosphere, trapping heat and causing the temperature to rise worldwide.

This is blatently false, as mars is also warming. The only possible explanation is that the sun is becoming hotter as part of it's natural cycle. Mars has almost no atmosphere.

If the carbon theory of Global warming is real, then Titan should be a jungle. It is right next to a hot body and has a thick atmosphere of pure hydrocarbons. Over the estimated billions of years that Titan has been around that methane atmosphere should have held some heat.

I know i will get a lot of abuse, but doesn't the fact that mars is warming up and Titan is not indicate that the "greenhouse effect" doesn't exist, or is vastly overstated?

I searched for questions, but they have all been resolved. I have seen several people get bashed for disagreeing with the concept. By no means am I an uneducated person, but I would like an honest, unbiased opinion/answer that would go against my own... Global warming cannot be definitively proven to be solely caused by human beings.

Before the "bashing" begins, I will state the some of the reasons for my position.

Scientific studies of the earth are quite inconclusive as there is nothing to compare them to other than patterns of our own planet in the past(where conditions were considerably different from nowadays) e.g. studying an earth-like planet that is in a time period/situation different than our own for a second opinion if you will. Earth has had very many cooling periods and warming periods long before human beings ever came into existence. At some point in time, earth was more than likely covered with more forests and animals than we can even fathom if compared to

It's been my understanding that a volcano eruption causes way more damage than what we could posibly do. i mean the earth is getting closer to the sun ever rotation around it, so it seams understandable there would be global warming. not to mention, the earth has had this exact thing happen before, and i doubt the T-rex was driving SUV and using aresol hair spray.
Dont get me wrong, i think we should keep our place here on earth clean and healthy, but destroying the earth? i think that is pretty egotistical to think we actually effect the outcome of the planet. speed it up well maybe. but cause it, no i don't think so.
