Absolutely, the G8 use it as an excuse to prevent African nations form tappign vast coal reserves and as an excuse to tax the boll*cks of us.
The "scientists" that did the research have a vested interest and their work is shoddy and full of holes. Do some actual reading on this you puppets instead of eating the cornbread and you'll see its all a lie.

It is to laugh! Of course not!! Who would want to head up a world government and have to cope with all the problems of global warming, global cooling, high prices, low prices, revolts and revolutions, famines and pestilences, excessive consumption, bad weather, terrorism, unequal distribution, poor education, rabble-rousers ...and the list just keeps going and going and going...
Of course, it worked for the elite in Orwell's "1984", but everybody knows that is only a humorous story, without any factual basis.
Who can imagine anybody wanting to run the world their own personal way? We never have had or will have conniving dictators who will say and do anything to get and retain power. History shows us the fallacy of believing that. Does it not?
I am sure that a consensus of the proper Concerned Scientists and UN Diplomats can show you the charts and statistics that conclusively prove the impossibility of that belief and how we are having less government, only enough to protect us from all evil, and more freedom to do what is deemed right, every day..

absolutely yes. I do not believe any of those scientific theories about global warming. Human can't warm the globe when its cool or cool it when its warm. Imagine a fly landing on a train, that is the size of the whole of human generation compared to the globe. the globe being natural has its own self-healing system as it travels in cycle. It will be cold and hot when it will, the ice will melt in the antatic when it will. Human can do absolutely nothing about it as we are only creature out of nature and no power or force shall be more powerful than that out of which it is created. So don't be fooled. No amount of human taxation will have a needle-head impact on global warming or cooling system.

I don't know if it's "just" an excuse, but it's definitely "an" excuse.
Can anybody PLEASE list the great accomplishments of the U.N.?
How'd they do in Somalia? How's it going in Darfur? We KNOW there are problems there. We KNOW how to solve human conflicts (or at least should - certainly we know more about this than how to significantly change global climate.) People who believe that the IPCC has the answer, then BY ALL MEANS sell all of your belongings and donate it to the U.N.; if you have a job, direct deposit your paycheck to the IPCC. How much does the world mean to you? How much do you believe in the fear-mongering in which you so eagerly partake?
It's time to put your money where your mouth is (which means the UN should have money coming out the wazoo...)

Nope, sorry. Global warming is real and is mostly man-made.
There's not going to be any "global government". Our own politicians in this country can't even get along, be productive, or get anything worthwhile accomplished. Likewise the nation's of the world are constantly bickering like little children. As if we could all unite under one banner? Yeah, right...
Our own government and it's sister corporatocracy are scary enough. Watch out for the national ID card coming in 2008, thanks to the Real ID Act passed by Congress. "Papers, please!" Jeez...
And don't buy anything from companies that support RFID consumer tracking practices either. Bastards...

No, it's not just an excuse, the world is warming up. But, the leftist (socialists and other whack jobs) do see it as a great opportunity to push their agenda - complete government control over every aspect of our lives.

You know, you may have a point there. A lot of these issues I think are bringing us closer and closer to the New World Order, and like sheep the people follow. I actually see people in this section that would like to have laws governing what we drive, how we eat, how much electricity we use, etc. I can't believe anyone with an IQ over 30 would want to have their freedoms taken away like that.

Just who do you fear most? What I see in most people is the fear of free thinking. Do they fear the government or corporations? For me it is the government. The government takes over all, just you do you go to if there is a problem?
We have the most to fear form any government you have. As of now this global warming is just about votes but if the wrong side takes over all is lost.
I hear the fear on line here.It is a shame that any one fears this warming. NO one is sure about it. NO one is sure it is a truly a bad thing" IF" it comes.
I just wish people would THINK FOR THEM SELF`s
At one time long ago people could, now we all run for the cliffs just as Lemurs do. Just because some chicken got hit with a acorn and yelled "were all going to die!".

Apart from the fact that it can unite the world under a common danger ,it can allso kill a lot of people and that is just up their street .
They said before in 1998 in Copenhagen that their Agenda demanded a reduction of the world population by 60 % so if Global warming does not perform ,they will surely come with the nuclear war.
Their hunger for global control is desperate ,
The brainwashings are already at shool level .maybe even Pokomon.

Thats not too far fetched a possibility, since every single person *without exception* I've heard claim Global Warming theory is true is also a net greenhouse gas emitter, according to their own theories and their own posts here in Yahoo! Answers. They typically claim that by making minor reductions in their direct and indirect use of hydrocarbon fuels they are "doing their part to stop global warming", when in fact they are really just making symbolic public gestures to keep up with the latest trend in environmentalism.
