It is just a poll. I am not after long answers just a Yes or No as to what you think is the case. Please answer honestly, easiest 2 points that you will earn today.
I am just curious as to what peoples perceptions are from what they hear from media, school, environmental groups, politicians, lobby groups etc.

➔ Global Warming
There seems to be a lot of confusion over this question in the forum.
I am interested in people's perceptions of the issue, NOT whether it is or isn't connected (I know the answer to that). There is a subtle difference
Please answer just Yes or No.

NO
Global warming is caused by CO2, the ozone hole is caused by CFCs.
It's incredible how little the average envirowacko researches his or her own propaganda.

1998 replaced into the most well loved twelve months considering that precise files began contained in the 1840s, and 10 of the most well loved years have happened in the course of the perfect 15 years. by analyzing boom earrings from bushes and ice cores drilled in Antarctica, scientists have determined that the previous decade replaced into the warmest in better than 4 centuries, and that the present cost of warming is probably exceptional in a minimum of 10,000 years. the wear and tear to our environment has already began. for instance, sea factor has risen from 10-25 centimeters and could proceed to upward thrust for hundreds of years no matter if we supply up all international warming emissions immediately. because the international warms, the outlook for all existence sorts seems bleak, except we are able to turn down the nice and comfy temperature by lowering concentrations of greenhouse gases contained in the ambience. Kyoto Protocol The United international locations has advanced a framework the "Kyoto Protocol on climate substitute", signed in 1997 convention on international warming and climate substitute. The adoption of the Kyoto protocol strengthens the framework with new rules and measures such as quantified mission and help aims to greenhouse gas emissions no longer lined by the Montreal Protocol. international Warming Can improve Ozone Depletion Scientist's are in contact that persevered international warming will boost up ozone destruction and improve stratospheric ozone depletion. Ozone depletion receives worse even as the stratosphere (the position the ozone layer is), will develop into less warm. because international warming traps warmth contained in the troposphere, a lot less warmth reaches the stratosphere which will make it less warm. Greenhouse gases act like a blanket for the troposphere and make the stratosphere less warm. In different words, international warming can make ozone depletion a lot worse good even as that's meant to commence its fix in the course of the subsequent century.

They are really two separate issues.
The Ozone layer blocks Ultraviolet rays. When the Ozone layer is destroyed, harmful Ultraviolet rays can penetrate the atmosphere
Global Warming is caused by the greenhouse effect where sunlight penetrates the atmosphere and upon striking an object is converted to heat. The greenhouse gases do not permit the heat to radiate back out to space. This results in excessive warming of the earth.
Where people often confuse the two issues is that some of the chemicals that destroy the ozone layer also act as greenhouse gases.

It's mostly no, but there are some interactions between these issues.
A simple yes or no is not scientifically correct.
EDIT: This is for other people, not for you, since they don't "get it". Here are the relationships between global warming and the ozone hole.
Gases that cause the ozone loss are CFCs, which also cause a small part of global warming. There's some overlap there.
The ozone hole causes Antarctica to be colder (it's complicated) which balances out global warming there, so Antarctica, so far, is staying the same temperature. Another interaction.
Not the same thing, but they are related, in both cause and effects.

If the ozone hole and global warming are related... then global warming is good for the ozone layer.
in the 1970's the hole was discovered to be growing. We had global cooling at that time.
Now the ozone hole is shrinking and we have warming.
They are not the same issue... and any relationship may just be coincidental.
But my correlation of warming to the ozone hole (above) is just as valid as the global warming alarmist's correlation of CO2 to the appx 1 deg C temperature rise of the Earth over the past 30 years...
