what pisses me off is there are soo many giant SUV's on the road and the people that own these SUV's are NOT doing their part in conserving and they are the reason why the cost of gas is too high, ITS NOT FAIR that I have to pay $3 a gallon when i drive a Honda Civic and I conserve and drive less!

My gf is writing an article on forest preservation.. but we're finding it very difficult to find really strong points on why anyone should care at all.
The article is supposed to shock people into caring.. but it seems nobody really cares, so long as they can still go about their everyday business. What would shock people into caring?

I have heard conflicting things about this, some ppl say always turn off, others if you are not going to use them for a few minutes, others say better to leave them on all night than turn them off and on

Contact your government representatives and demand that they investigate the risks more thoroughly before making it illegal for you to have incandescent lights in your home!
