Any local nursing home or public housing place....
I went to rehab one time for like 4 months and all we had was a few video tapes. We ended up watching the same ones over and over...

Libraries, or library socities. Goodwill, Salvation Army. Any used good store. Senior centeres, youth centeres, convalesent homes, hospitals, homeless shelters, detox centers. Man there are tons of placers that still use VHS tapes.

the problem is that the life of a VHS tape is about 10 years
the magnetized metal stuff loses it's potency
and you get blurry pictures - bad sound
thats why video discs are so superb
other than a doorstop - they're trash
