They are still endangerous. We don't know everybody we sent in to count them has failed to return.

There was in fact a bill in Canadian Legislation to make Bigfoot endangered it lent to some ridicule of the member who proposed it and was not taken seriously. Of most note was you can't rule something endangered if you can't prove it exists.
Like UFO's and other anomalies while you can't prove they exist you really can't prove they don't. Same also goes with hoaxing while some examples are obvious fraud to the "Experts" some can't be explained.

Sasquatch as in Bigfoot?! Didn't you know Bigfoot was a hoax? The dude who came up with the idea of Bigfoot left in his Last Will and Testament that Bigfoot was just a hoax.
