It's a solar powered electric car. I'm wondering where I could buy one, and if it's fast enough to drive on the street.

It's easy to want to save an animal that is cute and fluffy like the koala bear or a baby seal, but what about the other species in our world that are also in danger, like the many species of sharks? They may not be cute and cuddly, but they are an important part of the ocean's ecosystem. How about it? What will YOU do to help save one of the world's most misunderstood creatures?

I wrote an answer and found immediately a thumbs down to it. It is impossible to have read my answer so quickly. Then after reading through many answers discovered all thumbs up ratings were given to people who think Global Warming is a Myth and not true, while people who say it is a problem are given the thumbs down. What is this? I have lost confidence in the real legitimacy of this forum. It is a put on.... You know where you can put this forum.. Answers....right up your Yahoo.

I grew up using the plastic/paper bags from the store as trash bags at home. They are a simple way to save money verse buying trash bags. However, since I want to use a tote/string bag, I would run out of bags soon. lol What do you use??

Everything I have read, all the reports have "maybe", "could be" "perhaps" "possibly caused by" . IMHO I think it is just a natural change the Earth is going thru, man may hurt a bit, but not that much. Sounds like scientists looking for funding til they retire to me.

Russia has fossil fuel stored away since the cold war and perhaps beyond. You already about the middle east. As seeing that gas prices is now over 3 bucks a gallon, I don't see why someone hasn't come up with alternatives such as soy bean or making biodiesel more consumer friendly. Fossil fuels won't last forever. Hyrdrogen may be a good source but hard to keep it pressurized and cooled. There has to be some other viable fuel source. How far do you think electric cars can go? We will have a fuel shortage at the end of our life time for us thirtysomethings. Does anyone have any answers?

Glacier ice is deep blue because the intense pressure on the ice changes the properties of water. Even the melt water from the glacier is a strange blue color. Do you think maybe the pressure might affect CO2? Also, since we know that things like bacteria, spiders, and ice worms live in glaciers, wouldn't they affect the gasses in the ice based on their respiration?

Hicknorant, its a mix between hick and ignorant, you pretty much can not separate the two. Most hicknorant people voted for bush and as I stated in one answer, no person should have voted for bush if they didnt have 10 percent of their stock portfolio in oil I think I know why they voted for bush. Nascar. Hicknorants love nascar, but they dont know that electric cars run faster.

if so, then you believe that human beings evolution began billions of years ago.(at the very least millions)
ok, over this expansive amount of time the earth has gone through much more strenuous climate change than we r experiencing and predicting for the future. this can not be disputed with any intellectual responsibility or integrity. even the worst case scenarios predicted by science today can not compare to what the earth has experienced over the course of human evolution.
yet, we, the earth and the human race, r all still here.
through all of it, the human species has proven to b just as resilient as it's earth mother.

the earth is incredibly resilient!
case in point; we r told that the earth experienced a collision with an asteroid however many millions of years ago. the environment on earth was so damaged that the dinosaurs were wiped out completely. this is an accepted account of history.
now, we r told that our very existence is a stake over global warming.
when did the earth cease to b the beautifully resilient planet it has always been for millions of years, and become so fragile that people generally accept the fate of the very earth is at stake over "global warming"?

The term "Global Warming" means warming in every region around the world. Otherwise it is considered "regional" warming which happens naturally...some areas get hotter as some areas cool. Given that, why is the Antarctic Ice Sheet expanding in a period of Global Warming?
