I want to retire and build a house in Ruidoso but the water issue is VERY upsetting. Will there be water 10 to 20 years down the line?

I have read in trusted sources, stories that say the ozone layer is continuing to deplete AND stories that say it is almost fully recovered. Al Gore even claimed it is fixed completely. What is the truth and what would anyone have to gain from lying about it?

The truth about global warming has already been clearly elucidated elsewhere on this site and the fact remains that there is no evidence whatsoever that human CO2 emissions have any bearing on it. In fact a recent Channel 4 programme showed conclusively that nothing we can do can have the slightest effect. But, like religion, people cling to many erroneous beliefs which have no basis in scientific fact or contrary evidence, simply because it makes them 'feel good'.
The sooner we can eliminate all these spurious ideas and faulty logic the sooner we can come to terms with the prospect of a warmer climate - and the opportunities it offers.

Many people believe that global warming is causing the rise of Earth's temperature. They think that humans have pumped sooo much CO2 into the atmosphere, that we are making the greenhouse effect worse and worse.

But then, there are people who think that the sun is outputting more rays than normal, thus creating the higher temperatures. They believe that the sun has periods where it has more rays go out, and has less rays go out over time...thus when less rays go out-we have an ice age.
Qoute from a scientist: "The solar irradiance began to drop in the 1990s, and a minimum will be reached by approximately 2040," Abdussamatov said. "It will cause a steep cooling of the climate on Earth in 15 to 20 years."

Now Ive been a firm believer of humans causing the climate change, but Im very open to this type of topic.

What are your views on these two subjects and any evidence to back it up?

It is hard to believe that in only a short time on the planet we have done so much damage. Cars have been around for only over a hundred years, burning of fuels is relatively new and before that basically people burned wood which happens naturally in the environment. Animals go extinct and always will, remember the dinosaurs and the big mammals that followed? Maybe we kill new animals by not allowing the weak to go extinct as they would otherwise have done. I don't think global warming is real in the sense that we have some how triggered the end of the earth. I think it already exist and we can do nothing to stop it. Why do you believe it?

"why is mars getting hotter as well?" They say things like "that has nothing to do with the earth?" or something really ridiculous like that?

Do they not realize they are being used and brainwashed by Al Gore's supposed "mass persuassion"?

For those of you who believe we are causing it, I'll ask you again. "why is mars getting hotter in much the same way and earth?"

Scientists are saying it, why are you listening to a man who clearly has another agenda?

If I wanted to invoke a New World Order, because I am the "Brain," and possessed unlimited resources then I would contemplate intentionally using the Industrial base to pollute the planet to such an extent as to trigger Climatic chaos, which you are beginning to see the affects of now.

With the advent of worldwide coastal flooding and the destruction of grain producing lands turned into arid wasteland, such events would cause mass population movements to places of sanctuary. This mass migration of people would cause breakdown of Nation/States that become lifeboats and then cease to exist by breakdown of National identity by virtue of collision of cultures and common threat.

Meanwhile, I the "Brain," having done this to you will use the opportunity to gain control of all of you. I will offer the soultions to keep you alive, run your life so you won't have to worry, just go along with the "Brain?" Trust me.

I'm just wondering what do u guys think of the idea of using boxes to stuff groceries in instead of paper or plastic bags. it would be more environmentally friendly seeing how instead of a grocery store wasting gas to ship plastic and paper bags over, a box would be readily available after emptying its contents and set it aside for customer use.
a cardboard box stores more things, sturdy, and is ideal for the back trunk of the your car. so what do u guys think?

Three days ago I drove through Birmingham, Alabama. There were parallel lines at right angles. Then, about 30 minutes later, the blue morning sky turned to completely overcast, as the jet trails dissipated evenly over the city.

I also noted that my throat had a slight burning sensation, and itching.

What do you believe is the content of these aerial spray formations? The purpose? Doesn't this discreet experimentation violate the Nuremburg Code?

You know the cars that don’t run on petrol.

I mean, all the wars in modern history started because of oil problems. And we're running out of oil right now, right?
I'm not here to talk about wars; I'm here to talk about cars

Why not use a Hybrid car instead?

I know it only runs at, about, 40 - 60 km/h. But still, that's a very reasonable speed and not to mention decreasing road accidents.

I say, all car developer should change their cars into a Hybrid one. A Honda Hybrid or a Volvo Hybrid, of course people would buy it. If all the car developers change their cars by now, the whole world would be a better place. No oil problems, less accident, less pollution. Am I right?

And I'm not talking about just one company making the cars, but all of the company in this world. Wouldn't that be better?

If we do this there'll be enough clean oil for the factory to use.

My question:

1. Why aren't people using Hybrid car?

2. What do u think of my reason to use Hybrid car?

It's said that when photon zone comes to our world in 2012, it will fix the ozone and we won't use electric anymore because we will provide the energy from photon..And people will have DNAs which have 12 spirals. So they will able to read the other person's ideas and feelings. So there will be no lies. There will be tolarance..Also people can able to make theirselves healthy, if they're ill.

Are these possible? What do u think? If u have more information, can u share with me?

Wouldn't limiting the vast amount of industrial and/or automotive - related pollution that is generated on a daily basis have a far greater impact than anything that any one person could possibly do? This sounds to me like the concept of recycling - companies still manufacture almost everything out of cardboard and plastic without fail which almost always winds up in the trash rather than in recycling boxes - and even if it is in a recycling box, many refuse/disposal companies appear to handle it in the same way as garbage... It makes more sense to make change at the source rather than trying to make some kind of small impact at the consumer-level... If the various existing environmental groups truly care about their planet, I am quite sure that they could enact laws that would have a far greater impact than these inadequate solutions... I challenge these groups to work more assertively on enacting proper legislature to make the effective changes that are required.
