i need a breakup song about a guy breaking up with a girl and going out with another girl.
okay well. i just need a breakup song in general ha.
please, no country, rap, or any form of hip-hop,
and ESPECIALLY NO CLASSIC ROCK :|
i listen to mostly indie, acoustic, powerpop/pop punk, and electronica.
i'd prefer the song to be one of those genres.
The Postal Service is a good example of what i mean by electronica.
anything would be greatly appereciated!

Been working hard on projects all week, that's why my visits are so intermittent. And my fingers are sluring on the keyboard. You guys stay up and fight the good fight, and stay out of trouble. I feel a word coming on...

I must have been about 16...hitched a ride home from the beach and the guy started this tape (I wasn't real into music but liked some rock and roll groups) and I heard it and said damn who is that...he said led zeppelin...as i listened to it on the way home I was like now that is a damn band...they are friggin genuises...I was hooked right there...they were the greatest band of all time by far...IMHO.

I love Redman, and think he is probably one of the best "fun" rappers who actually has skills. He is a great lyrcist, just his lyrics are fun and he is animated.

With Teeth or Year Zero

It seems like we all agree that those two are the two worse, but which one is worse? and why?
I personally think With Teeth was worse, but it may simply be because I had high expectations and by the time Year Zero came out, I wasn't expecting anything.

Which musician/group had the most promising debut album but went on to disappoint since?

I don't include dying prematurely (e.g. Aaliyah), I just mean not living up to their early promise: Tori Amos, Richard Marx, Chesney Hawkes spring to mind.
I guess we have to exclude one-hit wonders and count only people who managed at least one album.
I'm tempted to include Dream, you can all slag me all you like...
