It is the song that's playing before the song by Casada. Repeat, I'm not talking about the song that's playing during most of the video it's the song before it.

What song would it be and in which genre would you choose?

I've always wanted to hear a cover of "I've Had The Time of my Life" in a hardcore vein. I have no clue why, I just think the whole thing would be funny.

all right all i know is that it came out around the time when "bittersweet symphony" rocketed up the charts. i also dont know any lyrics but i do know the chorus. it goes something like this:

*ahem*
oooooh ooooh oooooh ooooooooh oooooooh ooooooh ooooooh oooooooooooooooooh
then it breaks into a little guitar solo brrram pu tah du da du da du dah.....then it goes again.
oooooh ooooh oooooh ooooooooh oooooooh ooooh ooooh oooooooooooooh brrram pu tah du da du da du dah

then it settles down and the guy starts singin.

i know its hard but someone out herrrrrrr is bound to know

I personally like the intro to "You've Got to Hide You're Love Away" by The Beatles, when they are tuning their guitars and a glass breaks, and John says "Paul's broken a glass...broken a glass....Paul's broken a glass, a glass, a glass he broke today"

I'll start off with "Fa fafa fa fa fa fa fa, Fa fafa fa fa fa fa fa" on David Watts by either the Kinks or the Jam, both are great.

Then of course "Hey! Ho! Let's GO!" on the Ramones fantastic "Blitzkrieg Bop".

And "White riot! I wanna riot! White riot! A riot of my own!" and "No Elvis, Beatles, or the Rolling Stones! In 1977!" in "White Riot" and "1977" by the Clash respectively.

The chant in the Vibrators song "Automatic Lover" is ridiculously catchy. "Automatic lover! Automatic lover!" with the catchy little guitar riff in between.

And when Stooges song "1970" plays the last minute or so of the song with the sax going crazy and Iggy chanting "I FEEL ALRIGHT! I FEEL ALRIGHT!" over and over it always makes me sing along.

And of course from the classic "Get It On" by T.Rex who doesn't sing along with the chorus? "Get it on, bang a gong, get it on!"

Which songs cause you to lose control of your vocal chords?

OK, this is like Fool4TommyCollins' question, but my situation is for real. My hubby & I spend waaay too much time apart because of our work schedules, etc. We're lucky to have 2 weekends together a month to spend with each other. No trouble in paradise or anything, it's just that this nagging little thingy called WORK keeps us separated a lot. What would be a good love song to describe the two of us?

Here's a head scratcher. I saw a pop music video up in Canada in the mid 90s and for some reason, little bits of it are stuck in my head. I know it has the words "pictures of you" in the lyrics, it's sung by a girl with a very "pop-ish" voice and the video involves her taking a cardboard cutout of her boyfriend around to different places.

Anyone out there have the vaguest idea what song this might be? I know it's not called "Pictures of You" because that turns up a bunch of search results on "The Cure" and "The Last Goodnight"

Please help, I can get this pop out of my brain!

I had an old recording that I really enjoyed, that was lost. My problem is that every new CD I buy the tempo is faster than my old friend. I am confused about this, is the faster tempo correct and my old one the oddball? It seems to me that so much of the soul of the music is lost when it is played so fast.
