Thank god there's a few of us real hip hop heads on this forum, but to answer your question: All souled out was tight but remember it was a ep, so you got to hear more diverse production from step in the arena. Real talk, I have all Pete Rocks Cd's and even though I've been down with gangstarr since words I manifest, gangs cd's can't touch pete's. I would of matched pete rock w/ little brother myself.........................................Yo heads up, real hip hop questions don't get much love on this forum.

Step in The Arena, one of the best produced albums off all time, possibly the best. Not really fair, All Souled out was short, but the most creative name ive heard in a while, i love the pun.

Mecca and Soul Brother, this cd has the best production in terms of horns, I love every song and the horns they sample.

I say tie on these ones, i just cant decide. I know thats a cop out... sorry.

Center of Attention, another of the best produced albums of all times.

I cant find these albums, its starting to bug me, i guess ill have to order them when I get money.

Moment of Truth, no real reason.

The Ownerz, also no real reason.

I think overall I prefer Pete Rock because he uses different formulas. Premo always plays a 2 bar loop, and scratches a chorus, Im not complaining i dont want him to change. Bit Pete has more styles of producing, plus i love his sampling of horns.
