fantastic artist, but my oh my! how depressing

Definately The Smiths. Does it get any more depressing than "Last night i dreamt that somebody loved me" or "Heaven knows i'm miserable now"? Great band though

In my opinion, Blackfield. Wonderful band though, but they have no song that is at all happy.
I mean I thought Radiohead was depressing.... but man, they don't even compare to Blackfield
