Back when I was in my late teens, I didn't care for Bob Segar very much. But I do now. And right now, I love Pink Floyd tunes - when back 10-15 years ago, I never did.

Who really do you think is the best band .... Uriah Heep , pink floyd , AC/DC , Iron Maiden , Judas Priest , Sabath , Ozzy ,

My fave of all time is AC/DC , but I really like all the afore mentioned , plus many others.

What the hell happened to "rock" ... the modern stuff , although some are good , mainly sucks bigtime .....

well i already know the answer, but i heard some quote from some overprivelaged girl saying Punk BROUGHT ROCK AND ROLL BACK TO ITS ROOTS, NEVER FORGET THAT.

i was under the impression the root of rock and roll was blues, black soul music, and all that good stuff. i just want your opinions. maybe i'm going crazy. either way, punk didn't freaking bring rock to its roots.

lol, I love Dylan...in fact his concert was the first concert I ever went to and I'm so glad it was him instead of some stupid band like the BackStreet Boys anyway. Have you noticed though that in many songs his voice sounds completely different? I mean, you can still tell its him usually but when I heard him singing in his "country" voice with Johnny Cash I would have never known. Have you noticed this also?

It's by the Kottonmouth Kings and it was on one of their DVDs. I don't remember any lyrics. In the video they were in like a run down town all dirt and I remember them sitting on a porch with some old people. Later on one of the guys drives up with a chick and he goes in somewhere to buy some beer, and when he comes out she drives off. So he is walking down a dirt road with I think a 6 pack and drinking it.. I know I couldn't find the single after the DVD came out, and now I just can't remember or find the name of the song- I've looked but nothing rings a bell! It's kind of mellow not really fast.

And please don't give me the blanket statement "weed man, and drugs, it's all about weed and drugs" because well that is somewhat obvious. But what are the lyrics really about? Jackie Paper? Strings and sealing wax and other fancy stuff? Honalee? Does anyone have an educated answer? I have searched online and not found anything concrete.
