Sure is, I'm in West Virginia now and country and oldies rock are STILL my main picks. I'm originally from Michigan, then we lived in Ohio and Indiana, every place I've lived has been into country music. I think country music has grown over the years and is definitely split between old and new. People who put down country now days just haven't heard enough of it. Some rockers are even jumping on the country bandwagon. Country has some kick *** hits going on. The people who don't listen to country won't know it until there is a huge crossover hit and then they won't believe they are listening to a country song. I will always love the twangy old country, but I like a lot of the newer stuff too.(think of the phrases "We're coming to your CITY", or "Lawd have mercy, how'd she ever get them britches on?" love them both and laugh myself silly every time I hear them. More power to all the country stars!!! SL
