Back when I was in my late teens, I didn't care for Bob Segar very much. But I do now. And right now, I love Pink Floyd tunes - when back 10-15 years ago, I never did.

My taste in music has changed! Whereas 20 years ago I liked Phil Collins or Howard Jones, at 37 I still like the new music. Favourites at the moment include The Kooks, Panic at the Disco...and a bit of Jay Z! Obviously having kids is keeping me young!! (Check out my ipod and you can still find Phil Collins & Pink Floyd though!!!!)

Yea, definitely. The older I get, the more real I want the music to sound. Less overlays and syrupy crap, and more talent. I love the clean guitar licks of Robert Cray or Stevie Ray Vaughan, and I can't hardly stand the 9,000 overdubbed guitars on Boston leads, but in the day I thought it was just great.

Today, don't give me the grease, give me the talent. That's what music is really all about.

When I was younger I didn't really listen to music much. Then I began listening to the music on the radio, and only that. Now I've expanded my music tastes and I love indie/emo/punk/alternative rock and I'm not a huge fan of rap.

Yes...when I was a teen to young adult I only liked rock, then I went through a very short-lived country phase. Over the years I have grown to appreciate blues, smooth jazz, and bluegrass. I still love the classic rock, too.

Not too much, although I notice I rarely bother to play music for myself. It is too distracting to whatever else I'm doing (computer, reading, whatever) to have lyrics I may want to sing along with, and I only have a few instrumental-only CDs. Music is good when I have to do ironing, though. I play some of my old favorites, like Moody Blues, or Blood Sweat & Tears, or Jefferson Starship, just to give you a variety of my interests. And yes, I sing along.

Yeah. My track tastes have replaced plenty from even as i develop into youthful. i develop into fairly into to bubblegum Pop track like Britney Spears, Spice ladies, Backstreet Boys. i will't even trust I used to take heed to them. Now, i'm frequently into Rock & R&B or different stuff that has meaningfull lyrics. i appreciate classics from the 70's and 80's too.

Yes, back in my teens i was all and pure alternative rock. Now i still like rock the most, but i'm not so strict as to say "if it's not rock i don't like it" anymore. Some other kind of music used to bother me, ando now it doesn't.
