Watching the web-cast as I'm typing. I put this answer on a similar question earlier.
Allmusic.com is raving for this cd giving it 4.5 stars out of 5. He was being classified as a Dave Matthews light but is earning much more respect ("Try" got a 4.5 too) especially since he's wrote most of the tunes. Also his rhythm section is very solid. I once cringed at the thought of listening to his music, but it's a likely purchase now. Is he trying to fill the blues crossover gap left by SRV?
The guy takes chances and he may lose some mainstream fans but results is what counts. Bravo.

You know, you are really spooking me out now. Yesterday, I did alot of driving (yes, that is when we met while I was playing my steering wheel). I found a cd my daughter made me & she put on it John Mayer's Your body is a wonderland. What an awesome song. Haven't heard the new one. It's good?

he is. There's a really funny interview on Rolling Stone. Yes, he's talented but he also seems to be a bit, ummm off. :-)
