Movies - 5 November 2006

I know there are many great endings, but which is your favourite? I really like the way the three Godfather films end - especially the second one where Michael is sitting alone and omnipotent but estranged from everyone with only his terrible deeds to keep him company.

Also, shock endings in horror films - such as the Shining (still can't work out what was supposed to have happened) and the Blair Witch Project.

Several boys growing up in 40s or 50s, I believe it was in New York, they steal a hot dog from a vendor and when the vendor almost catches one of them, they hold the vendors cart at the top of subway steps in order to distract them. Unfortunately the vendor cant hold the cart up, and it falls down the step and hits a man. All the boys end up going to juvenile hall for the incident and i think they all get raped in jail.. Does anyone know what I'm talking about. Help me please.

For example i went along to see yet another Saw movie with my girlfriend and a few friends, Saw 3 this time, and read in the papers that quite a few people had fainted due to the nature of the film. About 20 minutes in some girl threw up all over the person in front of her, they had to stop the movie and then start it again once they had cleaned up. Is there really a need to show such horrific things? and is it changing our society? That film would have been banned 15 years ago and never seen!

I know this is a movie about Jack the Ripper but there is this scene where Herbert ( HG Wells) and Amy are on a couch after eating dinner and well here is the convo:

Amy: Herbert if you dont take me into your arms this minute I am going to scream.
(HG takes her into his arms and she starts to kiss him)
Amy: Is this costume just as interesting as you are?
(she starts unbuttoning his collar)
HG: Amy I don't want to compromise you in any way.
Amy: My g@# Herbert I am practically raping you.
HG: Ah yes you are.

Anyhow I am sure you can tell what happens from there ( tee hee hee). I am not sure if that is the exact dialog but it is pretty close to that. BTW you would have to see the movie to get the full gist on the "costume" comment.

The origonal Enterprise and Enterprise-A were Constitution class starships. The Enterprise-B was an Excellsior class. The Enterprise-C was an Ambassidor Class starship. The Enterprise-D was a Galixy class starship. I don't remember if they mentioned what class the Enterprise-E is in any of the films it was featured in. Help!

I went out and watched each Star Wars movie when they came out at the theater, and now I have all the DVDs. I want to know should I watch them in cronalogical order or in order of their release or in random order as stand-alone movies?
