i think the mermaids name is mina/mena? and i believe she dies in the end....

I was just thinking about this movie...I saw it when I was little and I'd really like to see it again! the mermaids name is marina and i think the japanese name of the movie is Andersen Douwa-Ningyo Hime. I'm not 100% sure. more info on the movie at the link below.

It's also called "The Little Mermaid" (officially "Hans Christian Anderson's The Little Mermaid"), and the mermaid's name is Marina.

no idea, but if you want to purchase it, if you look i think you can find the dvd on amazon.com. But it has a real dinky cover that will probably throw you off, show make sure you look at the details. Good Luck!!!
