I have just finished watching NOTTING HILL starring Julia Roberts & Hugh Grant and it makes me wonder whether it is feasible for a Hollywood celebrity to marry a common man in the street and makes that marriage works. Is there such a case in reality?
I have given it some thought & the only case that I can come up with is that of Elizabeth Taylor & Larry Fortensky (a brick man) & that didn’t last long. But then it’s Elizabeth Taylor & knowing her, marriage to any man won’t last long!
Do you know of any others?

All I can remeber is vague bits and pieces. It was animated (poorly) and it was not Fantastic Planet or WIzards. I think it was based on an idea by Asimov or Silverberg or someone of the caliber. I am pretty sure it was foreign. The basic plot, I think was about an invasion going on and people getting turned to stone, and no, it was not Yellow Submarine! I am on this kick for looking at old movies and I cannot place this one for the life of me. I know it was shown here between 72 and 77, but it could have been made earlier. I seem to remember it being shown at a film festival but I am not sure, I was quite young then. Thank you for your help.

Like at Hollywood video you get to rent them for 5 days. I was just curious how many days do you get to rent them from Netflix. Thank you.
(No other personal opinions, please)

Or is it just too unPC? What is your favorite line from that movie? My favorite line is "You smell better than a French (W)hore". My favorite scene was when Slim Pickens says to the Black Work crew "sing us some of them good ole (n)igger songs" and the black work crew starts singing "I get no kicks from champain....I get my kicks over you"

She is Phil's best friend. She also sings when not doing that show. What is her name and who is that other girl she sings with? I think the two of them were in a Disney Channel Movie called "Cow Belles" or something.

Sorry, this is all the information I have. A teenager from the east coast, a large city, for some reason is sent to the west coast to live with, I think, his aunt. His aunt has a son, who is a surfer, who becomes friends with the boy and they pal around, enter a surfing competition, and get involved with drugs and drug dealers. The part of the aunt is played by a rather well known actress, whos name I can't think of. Sorry I can't remember anymore. If you can think of a movie that fits the above description, let me know.
