I have just finished watching NOTTING HILL starring Julia Roberts & Hugh Grant and it makes me wonder whether it is feasible for a Hollywood celebrity to marry a common man in the street and makes that marriage works. Is there such a case in reality?
I have given it some thought & the only case that I can come up with is that of Elizabeth Taylor & Larry Fortensky (a brick man) & that didn’t last long. But then it’s Elizabeth Taylor & knowing her, marriage to any man won’t last long!
Do you know of any others?

I'm a part-time actress. It does not matter what he looks like or does for a living, age etc. Being in love is want counts. Elizabeth Taylor did not like to be alone. She was on so many pain killers the poor thing i don't think she was in her right mind at the time of some of her marriage's. I know at least 2 celebrities that are not married to another celebrity. But can not reveal that info.

Raquel Welsh married a pizza delivery man.
James Denton from Desperate Housewives' wife is a personal trainer.
I think Patrick Dempsey's wife is a 'common' person.
I'm sure there's more but that's just off the top of my head!

i know there are a few examples, but have you ever seen the prince and me? that's based on truth, the prince of Denmark actually married a "commoner".

usually not. even celeb marriages don't last there is no real love among celebs.
