In the movie this guy goes to this nursing home and reads a book to this lady about two lovers from the beginning of their life until present. She has alzheimers and keeps forgetting. It was about an end of the school year party. Before the party the seniors went around paddling freshman and this one freshman who gets paddled the worst gets taken under the star quarterback's wing.

It's an older version of "Bon Voyage, Charlie Brown", I think. The Charlie Brown Gang gets lost, and at one point, Linus Explains where they are, somewhere in Normandy. Linus then goes on to explain the D-Day invasion. Does anyone know what movie this was, or where I can find it?

with gene wilder in, is this normal? im going through lough moods right now and im lonely all the time, but the film really captures my heart, especially when willy wonka ( gene wilder) sings in the world of pure imagination...i ran myself a bath got in it, and hummed the song and filled up with tears. does this ever happen to anyone else? i hope no one laughs at me

From reading a few reviews from people in yahoo i think they missed the point. they saw only the offensive humor and ignored the fact that the most offensive comments came from americans. he was making jokes about the ignorance that america has towards foreigners and minorities. the movie was genious and easily the funniest this year. with that being said what did you think?
