It was about an end of the school year party. Before the party the seniors went around paddling freshman and this one freshman who gets paddled the worst gets taken under the star quarterback's wing.
It had great music, and it was well made. Does anyone know the movie I am talking about?

It was Dazed and Confused, as everyone else has said.
There were two soundracks released for that movie, both very good. Add on the first greatest hits album from Aerosmith and the third one from Bob Dylan, and you get every song from the movie.
