Movies - 7 November 2006

I saw it on t.v. about 15 years ago. All I can remember is one part from it where a little girl is being haunted by another little girl and in order to set her free she has to go to this well and get the dead girl's doll-I think it was stuck in the well from when the other girl fell down it and died. This girl almost falls in and dies trying to get the doll, I believe. In the end, I thought she gets the doll and sets the ghost free. Does this sound familiar to anyone?

I read the book and did not see the movie because I was pretty sure it would be terrible. From what I saw most of the cast did not fit the roles. How was it in comparison to the book? Was it true to the book or did they change/leave a lot out? Worth buying, should I just wait til it's on tv, or don't even waste time watching it?

Most of the things which happen are totally unbelievable.
Let me guess now what happens in Casino Royale. Bond has many fights with bad people, he uses some unbelievable new "weapons" He shags a beautiful woman, usually one of the bad people, He wins in the end, says some corny one liners.

There was a march played in the scene where Norville gets a haircut and gets fitted for a suit, when all the executives were laughing. I also heard it in a film at Dublin City Hall (!) and really like it, but it is not on the soundtrack. Does anyone who has seen the movie remember the piece and know its name?

First of all, they always cast a black lady opposite a black man (the very few movies where a black man is actually a hero), and if they ever cast a white lady opposite a black man, they never show him kissing that white woman... Of course there are a few rarest of the rare movies where this happens, but what I am saying is, that this is not common. In fact a white hero will always get to kiss a black lady if cast opposite him... Isn't this racist?

Not the broadway play. I watched the movie with my mom, and then i listened to the broadway soundtract and it is WAYYYY different. And no matter where i go, I find the braodway lyrics. I want the MOVIE lyrics. Thanks guys!
