it was a time warp thing with the mailbox dont understand though how they owned the same dog yeah kind of confusing. good luck and god bless and happy thanksgiving.

somehow there was a time warp in the mail box because they both had.lived in the same house. you may to watch frequency with dennis quad and jim chavizel its basically the same concept and if you liked the lake house you will love frequency. it will make you cry buckets. nothing like a father and son bond.

It was the mailbox-something about it let them do that. The dog just happened to be owned by both, although it seemed to have been "meant" to be that way.

The dog is a genie. Try watching the movie "Three Wishes" and pay attention to the dog in that movie. They look identical.
