I think "Love Story" is difficult to beat, or "It Happened One Night" if you like the classics. "Blue Velvet" or "9 1/2 Weeks" if you're a little kinky!

Although Jerry Maguire is my favourite movie, I don't think its the most romantic one. I think Ghost, You've Got Mail and Runaway Bride are far more romantic.

Using the classical definition of "romantic" (not the Hollywood version), I say Big Fish.

A guy twists up the story of his life into a retelling of a fantastic, romantic, but not entirely untrue account of his amazing experiences. I love it. :)
