Not if Disney wanted to cut out Johnny Depp's character, the true cash cow for the trilogy. I mean, who really cares about the movies other than seeing Johnny Depp as Jack Sparrow. He's the only real highlight of the films.

he can't die in pirates 2 as pirates 3 is likewise under manufacturing/filming to no longer point out he's the best pirate ever....even beating out Blackbeard, Captain Morgan and Captain Blood

No they will rescue him in the netherworld or some undead place. I heard though that they will kill off Orlando Blooms character in the next movie. Disney decided they did not need his character anymore. That's what they said on the radio. Don't kill the messenger
