I already know that one of the main characters will die. I would guess it is going to be Ron. Since in fiction, good almost always triumphs over evil, I think that Harry will finally defeat Lord Voldemort. I also think that Harry and Hermione are going to end up as a couple.

Harry must face V, but V does not know harry draws strength from his friends.
The battle is pitched, but V had experience.
When Harry is about to die, Snape steps in to hold V in place. Harry must kill them both to rid the world of V

I've heard rumors that either Ron or Harry will die. I doubt that it will be Harry though. I think there's gonna be a huge battle with Voldemort, maybe something like what happened in HBP when Dumbledore was killed, and Harry will triumph.
