Or is it just too unPC? What is your favorite line from that movie? My favorite line is "You smell better than a French (W)hore". My favorite scene was when Slim Pickens says to the Black Work crew "sing us some of them good ole (n)igger songs" and the black work crew starts singing "I get no kicks from champain....I get my kicks over you"

We can only hope so. Bold artistic creativity moves in cycles through the years and right now we are experiencing a very weird bipolarity (a priggishness and hypocrisy) with things like PC on the one hand and nasty-boy scandals on the other. There are some very good writers today, but there will never be another man as uniquely funny as Mel Brooks! He took the chances and pulled them off "like butta"! My favorite movie of his is Young Frankenstein, but when Madeline Kahn appears on the screen in BS singing the lyrics to "I'm Tired", I just have to (or want to) believe that genius(es) like that come and will come in like the tide once every couple of generations. I mean, who the hell else can make Hitler amusing!!? Lol.

Lets not forget who wrote the movie, Jackie Mason and Richard Prior. Two comedians who based a lot of thier act on race and race issues. It would be geat to see Signfeld and Chris Rock, or John Stewart and Dave Chapelle doing something a long the lines of Blazin Saddles.
I think one of my favorite lines is "Excuse me while I whip this out."

I think that too many people would be upset at the things protrayed in the movie. Way too un-PC.
