I mean, any new movie released will not run to packed houses for more than a week in the Multiplexes? (So much piracy is around, what do you think?)..God bless the movie-goers !

What I think is happening is the the movie audience is becoming more selective, more segregated. Fewer films attract such huge audiences as they did in the old days. It's like America where films are made for children, for teens, for 20's/30's, for older adults, for families, etc. As the audience becomes more savy to film making, they decide they don't all have to like the same things. It's natural and says good things about India and Bollywood, rather than the reverse. It means that audiences aren't going to see whatever crap is thrown at them, but they are going to decide for themselves what they like and what they don't want to bother with.

Well Bollywood and Hollywood are very different and unique in a lot of ways and there isnt much chance that Bollywood is going to slip in "one day Hollywood culture" though there are a lot of "crossover" films being made and more still at the end of the day we'll all love songs, dances, fights and all that masala so there is no way Bollywood or anyother type of Indian cinema is going to change
