I have to do a persuasive essay for college about this subject. I want to persuade people how Evolution should be taught in schools but not as FACT but as THEROY because that is really what it is. Kids these days are learning them as fact but i disagree because i looked it up and there are way many more reasons why Evolution is just a big lie. What do you think and why?

Instead of just having them repeat the names of the animals, foods, etc....here's what we did. We cut out pictures of food and named them as we put them on the food pyramid we made. For the animals, we put them into their groups..mammals, birds, etc. I think it is good because not only are they learning Spanish, but it is like learning health or science, etc.

My 8 yr old is having a very difficult time in learning multiplications. I think he's the slowest one in his class. I've tried showing him different ways to do it but he can't get it. His teacher is no help. He's struggling right now & there's no tuturing after school. He's also lagging behind in reading in his grade level. I think he has a short attention in his class. I think his mind wonders when his teacher is talking & he can't be still.

I'm getting ready to graduate and become a special needs/elementary teacher. I want to teach in the county next to me, but there are a couple people there that hate my guts and they are parents too. When I first attended college I went my first year to a community college there (county next to me.) One girl hates my guts beause she heard I called her a racial slur kind of name(which I didn't) One girl hates me because She was harassing my boyfriend (stalking him) and I told her about it. She then started stuff with me at a ballgame (fight) This is high school stuff I know, but these people are still holding a grudge. Thishas been 4 years ago, but I seen the both of them about 2 years ago and they tried to start trouble with me again. Can they as parents prevent me from working here? If they start stuff should I press charges? How can I take care of this problem?

My dad says that I've wasted his money studying. :-( He wanted me to do something in Finance or Accounting which are my subjects in college, because the salaries are six figure sums. I'm feeling kinda low that he's laughing at my dreams. Any pep talk?

I remember those days, where learning was fun. I wanted to be involved. Now that Im in high school, theres not a lot of motivation with teachers. The ones that motivate you are the rare ones. Some just say what you have to learn and you have to learn it on your own. I don't find that learning for me. It's kind of stressing me, because over the years, I feel like I have not learned anything on some of the classes I have taken. It feels like Im waisting my time.

I have been working on a remodel of a high school and the other day I was passing a classroom and heard the teacher to say " It is ok to kill but only if you know your views and beliefs are right and You feel the other 99% of the population is wrong" I stood by the door and listened a little more and the teacher was teaching basicly that you can't end violence so you might as well use it to your advantage. I told the office what I heard and they say that is well in school guidlines I also told the districts super what I heard and he also said it is in district guidlines and even if it wasn't they couldn't do nothing without censoring the teacher and violating her rights and risking a suit,
My question to you isn't this just teaching hate and criminal activity without consequences towards the teacher?
