Start with some statistics on how many suicides there are in the country, and then in your state, or area.
Then, break it into alternatives for people. Show some real-ife examples of people who were helped through things like therapy or group help sessions. There are also some innovative/holistic approaches to treating depression like exercise, hyponsis or meditation. Include those, and then end your paper on a sympathetic note. Add a concluding paragraph saying how sad it is, and how more resources and alternatives should be more available to teenagers.

There are all kinds of ways to approach the topic. What's the most interesting piece of it to you?

Are you interested in the reasons teens commit suicide? Whether there's been a change in suicide rates between when your parents were teens and today? Are you interested in the services available to prevent teen suicide? Think about the piece of the topic that's most interesting to you, and go from there. You'll write a better piece if you write from your interests.

Try putting yourself in the place of your research subjects. How would you feel in their place? What would make you want to commit suicide as a teenager? What pressures would drive you over the edge? Trouble with school, at school, with friends or kids at school? A particular teacher on your back for nothing? Think about it. It'll come to you. Good luck!

Start off by saying the percentage of teen suicides a few years ago compared to now, then go to talking about why the percentages are different......and go from there. I don't know the info you have to be able to put it together for you.

oh goodness. start with an eye-catching phrase, and say what you feel, present the topics in a clear manner that is easy to read. be honest, and give prevention tips as well. conclude with something poignant.
