English uses "Achilles' heel" to describe “area of weakness, vulnerable spot”. I wonder what are its equivalents in other languages (not directly translations).
The more the better! Thanks!

I don't quite get it, i saw this in another question thats it in plain english but it's confused me more, well it's more the 2nd part i don't get.

I dare to do everything that it's appropriate for a man to do. Whoever dares to do more isn't a man.

if you dare to do more then wouldn't that make you more of a man or am i missing something? :S

Thanks

When we were kids and one of us was talking too loudly over a long period of time, my mother would say : "Stop! You're like a third voice booming in my brain." I never asked her what it meant or where the saying came from. Has anyone else ever heard of it? The reason It came to mind is that I've just said it to my son, who was making a lot of noise! I'd love to know if it has a meaning.

Why can't I remember quotes and recall them when I need them during conversations? I've read many memory improvement books but most of them are only good for memorizing grocery list or multiple items. Any suggestions on how to remember long sentences or quotes?
